Moto Metal 951 + 285/70R17 Installed!!

Just bought new Moto Metal 951 17x9 (-12 offset) all around with Kumho KL78 AT Blackwall 285/70R17 tires. Got the whole set (5 wheels/tires) with lugnuts mounted balanced delivered to my driveway for $1530 out the door!! Dubsandtires.com 866-737-9430 hooked me up big time, no one else could touch their pricing. They had the best price on ebay for 4 rims, so I asked them for quote for 5 rims + tires and they delivered hundreds cheaper than if I bought the rims from them and the tires from Tirerack and had local shop mount and balance. They shipped them on a pallet using a freight company ready to swap onto my FJ.

Anyhow, the new 285/70R17 with the new Moto Metal 9" rims (-10 offset) causes the stance to be wider which is what I wanted, I went from 73.75" sidewall to sidewall to 77.5" sidewall to sidewall in the rear, so I have a 3.75" wider stance!!

Ride is very nice, no noise, no clearance issues. I am running a Rough Country 3" Lift kit.

I did have to take my 3" cutting wheel and trim some of the mounting tongue off the spare tire mount to bolt the new rim/tire flat onto the mount. Stock rim has a deeper clearance for the tongue lip on the spare tire mount. No biggy
