Lifting can only void a warranty on something the dealer can prove the lift damaged.

An example of a valid warranty voiding lift, was a level kit made by Daystar, and several others for the Nissan Titan.

Unlike the quality ones, like those made by PRG, the Daystar design put additional preload on the OEM coilovers and caused many to go out. I never heard of Nissan refusing to replace the coilovers, but they would have be justified.

The quality level kits bolt to the top of a coilover between its mounting hat and the coil bucket so the preload isn't changed.
