The following is a list of changes for the upcoming 2010 Fj Cruiser including new color, engine and fuel economy:
New Color: Army Green replaces VooDoo Blue. (May have to get one to park next to my 72)
New 4.0L V6 Dual VVT-I engine - adds 20 horsepower from 239HP to 259HP
- Reduces torque from 278 LBS-FT to 270 LBS-FT ( to an avid 4wheeler I don't like that because anyone who's ever been stuck in the mud or does any climbing knows Torque Rules!)
Improved EPA estimated Fuel Economy
4x2 Auto 16/20 to 17/22 MPG
4x4 Auto 16/20 to 17/21 MPG
4x4 Manual 15/18 to 15/19 MPG
It is interesting to note that the the above numbers are using 87 octane fuel. The 2010 FJ Cruiser won't require 91 octane unleaded Improved Turning Radius
41.8 to 40.7 FT
Larger Windshield washer Bottle
4.5 to 4.8 Liters
Trail Team badged Special Edition (September to January Production)
