ProComp 6” suspension systems

Pro Comp Suspension has 6” suspension systems to transform the FJ Cruiser into an intimidating trail beast.
6" is the perfect height for fitting 35" tires and clearing larger off road obstacles. Stage II systems feature Xtreme performance MX2.75c Coil Over front shocks and MX6 adjustable mono-tube rear shocks. These 2.75” diameter coil over shocks feature the highest level of racing shock technology and aerospace grade materials. Translation - unmatched ride and handling.
Stage I systems provide spacers for the factory front struts and ES9000 rear shocks. Extended steering knuckles and rock solid one-piece lower cross members install easily and place factory components in the correct place for optimum performance and durability. Replacement rear coils and upper control arms provide lift along with proper rear drive line angles. A rear track bar relocation bracket and custom lower shock mounts maintain proper rear axle control.
• Approximate installation time 6-8 hours.
• Rack and pinion stays in factory location.
• Cutting of cross member required to lower front differential.
• Recommended maximum tire and rim size - 35x12.50 on 18"-20" diameter, 8" or 9" wide rims with up to 4.75"backspacing. (The Pro Comp Suspension FJ Cruiser is equipped with 35x12.50-18
Pro Comp Mud Terrain tires on 18 x 9 Extreme Alloy rims 7089-8983)
Note: Factory or aftermarket 16” or 17” rims cannot be used.

That's cool Pro Comp has a lift for the FJ
With the Nissan Titan many owners had issues with the Pro Comp coilovers though, (that came with the stage 2). Can't say they are the same design or not, but I personally wouldn't buy their coilovers.

So most buy the Pro Comp level 1 lift and install either Radflo or DRE coilovers. Don't know if Radflo makes a model for the FJ but ... just peaked at the Donahoe Racing site, and yes there are DRE coilovers for the 2007 FJ (fits both the 2wd and 4x4 models)... here's a link http://donahoeracing.com/prod_detail...oyota&model=FJ
These are good up to a 3.5" front lift and are off-road race-quality 2.5" diameter, internal reservoir design.

I run this same basic design on my '04 Titan and I highly recommend the DRE for on-road and off-road use too. They will lift w/o a drop bracket kit, just not as high.

Here's a link to some other DRE products for the FJ.
