| 2007 FJ Pulls Right Well, I guess I'll jump right in with a tech question here. We have a 2007 FJ, bought new in Feb, 2007. We LOVE the truck, but have had a problem with it pulling to the right ever since we got it home. We have made numerous trips back to the dealership for warranty service on this and they have checked the alignment multiple times, only to find it within specs. In fact, it has been checked at multiple dealerships just to be sure that the place we bought it wasn't entirely honest with us. We thought we had isolated the issue to a tire problem, because when the tires were rotated, the pull got better. After about a year of this, and a heart-to-heart "talk" with the dealership's manager, they finally replaced the tires under warranty. Within a few miles on the new set of tires, the pull is back. The original tires were Bridgestone Dueler HT and they were replaced with the same. The wheels have been checked for "true" as well. Anyone experience this as well? If so, what was your solution? Nice forum by the way. Good information here. |

| The tires on the right side were cupped a little when the dealership replaced them, (I think that's why they finally ponied up and did that). This set has about 5,000 miles on them now and they looked fine at the last rotation. |

They didn't do an alignment, because everything was within "specs." |

OK... sorry I didn't make myself clearer. Yes, they put the truck on the alignment machine and everything was "in-specs" so they didn't change anything. To me, if you didn't change anything, then you didn't do an alignment. They just "checked" the alignment. Brakes are not hanging, tires have been replaced, wheels appear to be true, (although an actual test of them has not been done), alignment has been checked and it still pulls to the right. |
