Welcome to the site!

Now for your question, it's pretty simple and works the same for all new Toyotas.
1. With the key off, push the trip ODO button on the dash and hold it
2. While still holding the button, insert key and turn to the on position(do not start truck)
3. Wait till the light flashes and then goes out, that's it.

Hope this helps!

I am a new member and joined to find out how to get my "Service Required" light out. THANK YOU!!! My FJ is coming up on 4800 miles. I changed the oil to semi-synthetic at 1800 - I believe I do not need service.

I had the same question Talind. Remember to keep the Odometer on the first ODO screen - not trip A or trip B - it makes a difference.

Thumbs up

Squid is a life saver for this one. I found after my second oil change that the light wouldn't go out. I thought something was wrong, and almost brought it in to the dealer before reading this. Brilliant!

i'd like to know that also

we had hit a yellow pole in a walmart parking lot and did a lot of damage to the front the light had come on we thought it was that but we did an oil change after that happened and the light has been on since. i think you must have to take it to the dealer or something i dont know i am planning on calling the dealer and asking them. so much for the you can do the oil change your self....... to save trips to the dealer.....
