| Engine starting slow When I start up my FJ, it seems to take about a full second to second and a half, was wondering if this is normal? just seems you have to turnit over just a touch more than normal. thanks David |

| Seems to be par for the course. I noticed that ours seemed to have a longer start time than previous vehicles. Heck in my Nissan Titan, you can barely hit the key and the monster comes to life.

| I bought my '08 about a month ago. I hooked up a remote starter, and it has a difficult time sarting it. It only cranks over for few revs, then waits a few seconds to try again. Most of the time it starts, sometimes it wont. I will probably connect to the tach wire, which is an option for hard starting vehicles. But that is the only bad thing to say, other than that, I love my FJ! PS.It is hardly noticable with the key. |
