Looking to purchase FJ40

Hey there... I am very interested in buying a FJ40. I was curious if there are some years to stay away from, things to watch out for, options that are must haves etc... I would appreciate all advice. Thank You.

What part of the country are you from .?
I have a running , solid '71 with a 4 speed in the Northeast.
Needs paint. $2500.
