'70 fj body tags

Hey everyone,
I have a 1970 fj and am trying to locate all the body tags. I'm aware of the obvious one on the door jam, where is (are) the other(s)? Thanks in advance.

Toyota FJ Cruiser Identification Tags

1967 or Earlier
FJ25 & FJ40
Passengers Side of Firewall


Early USA models had only one ID tag located on the firewall. VIN can also be located on the left frame rail in front of the tire.

1968 & later
40 & 55 Series
Found on Drivers Door Pillar

60 Series & some
early 62 Series
Found on Drivers Door Pillar

USA & Non-USA Specification
USA Models from this production period will have 2 sets of tags, a door pillar tag as well as a tag found under the hood noted below.

1968 & later
40 & 55 Series
Found Under the Hood on
Passenger Fenderwell

60 Series & some
early 62 Series
Found Under the Hood on
Drivers Side of Firewall

The Land Cruiser's Frame Number A.K.A "VIN" can also be found stamped on right front the frame member either in front of or behind the tire depending upon model.

Engine Identification
The engine number for F & 2F engines is stamped on the right side of the engine block.
