| Rust is the biggest problem. Look for it in the inner frame and around the rear spring mounts especially. Front disc brakes are almost a must but are easy to add to an older truck. Diesel are much better on fuel, although not fast. The 2f is a somewhat better motor. Aside from that the usual how well it runs etc. |

| If you're looking at a FJ then you must be mechanically inclined which means there are parts for everything you'd need for a restore. If you're not mechanically inclined then you're still in luck because there's a place in Texas that sells restored FJ's. Whether you're going to do the work or not yourself this place is a must Land Cruiser Sales |
