New Guy

Hi Guys,

About 20 years ago I owned a '77 FJ40. It was mustard yellow, hard top, w a PTO winch and in pretty good shape with the usual rust and so forth but needed a little work. I didn't have the skills or the money to fix it up so I sold it. I've regretted selling it ever since. Now, I'm older with more skills and a little more $ and looking for a project FJ40. I think I have found one, a '69 in fair to poor shape, and will be taking advantage of the info on this site during my work. It seems like there is a lot of good info here. I'll keep ya'll posted.

I've owned my 72 (Stock) for about 20 years and have my eyes on another 72 that needs a lot of work but I, like you, think that I now have the skills, money and tools to Mod the crap out of one so I'm waiting for the guy to give in.
