| Sweet ride! I have a buddy here in MO that has an identical FJ. They are great. Unfortunately, I don't have the slightest idea as to how to answer your question. Never fear, Squido will soon be here ... Oh, and welcome to the site! |

| I can't answer your question with fact. And you didn't mention if you are thinking about an original style radiator. A modern aluminum 3 core will be far better than a OEM style 4 core. If fan clearence is in doubt with whatever you choose, you can remove the fan and add 1 or 2 electric fans. |

| The answer is yes. You can put either or in your FJ or you can pay big bucks for an OEM Toyota. The link has prices for all 3. Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40, FJ55, FJ60 And FJ80 Engine Cooling Sorry it took so long to get the answer to you but I've been working 12 hour days 7 days a week which doesn't leave much time for anything else. Happy New Year! |

| welcome to the site fjbully, as a mechanic i would personally recommend the 3 row aftermarket aluminum radiator (moline make a very dependable one along with others that specialize in foreign an discontinued models). several reason for this, you don't have an automatic trans so that eliminates the need for the extra cooling one might need while towing or doin some serious climbing, next is to much cooling can be bad but not detrimental, vehicles are designed to run at a certain temp and if they can't reach the will have a tendency to run not so good, aluminum collects and dissipates heat much more efficiently than the old stock brass radiators and cost less than have of the brass, this of coarse is just my opinion albeit influenced by over 30 years of turnin wrenches and makin a good livin doin so. good luck with any way you decide to go, post some pics soon, i love the old fj40s
