Just picked it up this morning. It's a new 2011 with option package 3, driving lights, and tow package. The wheels are nasty but that will be remedied soon. I've always been a Jeep man and have owned three 4.0 Wranglers (one YJ and two TJs) and an '04 Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 V8. Jeep has effed up the Wrangler bad and I don't think the new Grand Cherokees are worth the $$ they are asking. Especially considering how badly they depreciate. I've always loved Toyota four-wheel drive vehicles though. Damned if I know why I haven't gotten one before now. Just plain dumb I guess. Toyota, you've built one hell of a vehicle!

Why are the wheels steelies? It should have come with alloy wheels.

They are very different to jeeps. How you plan to use yours?

Oh I am loving it! Very nice highway ride whereas the Jeeps that I owned were rather punishing. I have yet to take the FJ off-road though. This vehicle will serve as my daily driver with the occasional romp through the wild. Nothing too severe though; dirt roads, fields, maybe a trip to Ouray, CO and go up in the San Juans...stuff like that. The option package 3 I got comes with those wheels. I'd like to get the TRD wheels that came with the Trail Team FJ but they don't make those anymore. But these TRD Trail Team edition knock-off wheels are currently at the top of the list.
