Hello,

Thinking of getting new FJ here in Pittsburgh Pa. stumbled onto this site.

Hope to get some good perspectives before purchase.

Have had (4) full size 4x4's in the past 12 years, (2) Fords (1) Ranger (1) F150 and (2) Chevy Silverado's.

Cool

Thanks Cruiser,

I had an FJ40 in the mid 80's when I finished my enlistment in the Navy, looked like the current vooodo blue with white top current model paint color, was a bit sparce in comfort, but very tough machine.

I'm thinking of the TRD package with a stick, but am not sure about the full time 4x4 issue, from what I understand automatics are part time 4x4.

I have a new Chevy Impala LTZ for sadan duty.

very comfy to drive, lots of room. would advize not to go with trd version. you can add every thing it has a lot cheaper than you can buy the vehicle for plus they only come in black, hard to keep clean

If and when you get it let us know how it compares with the Fords and Chev's you owned. I'm a first time 4x4 owner - so I really have nothing to compare it to. But that's not stopping me from absolutely loving it. Cheers!
