Smile FJ-40 1982 Diesel, Indonesia

Hi everyone,
I am Andhika from Indonesia, 15 years driving pleasure with FJ40 '82 Diesel.

I post pictures taken during my restoration and modification of 1982 FJ40 Diesel. To someone who want to rebuilt this amazing vehicle, it contains many shots of parts detail. It is hard to find the genuine parts, we just do the best we can to recondition. Follow this link FJ40 '82 Diesel enjoy it and feels free to comment.

Thumbs up

Your FJ40 restoration looks great, I’m sure it takes a lot of work (and money) to get it ready for new paint and even rebuilding all of the mechanical is a big task. You’ll have a very nice truck when it’s completed, something you can be proud of. I like the color too.

Yes, that is right Runner. Rebuilding FJ is very challenging. We need extra energy, knowledge and good fund resource. It was an option for me, a new motorbike or rebuilding the rig. I was choose the rig with some good friends helping.

I have no big target for this project, just to make the car working well. Ready to ride after 3 years stranded in the garage. Any small addition just to make it comfort & safe. It takes 3-4 weeks to be like this

Thanks Runner, you've just remind me to watch my pocket. It seems depleted.....
Do you plan to rebuild too?
