Hello everyone

My name is Matt i live in Dillingham alaska but i travel to Utah on a regular basis to see my son. I've purchased a 70's FJ-40 and i'm going to start tearing it down to bare bones starting december 9th. It currently has a chevy 350 in it and i was looking to purchase an 88-94 chevy pickup so i could use the throttle body engine in it and was looking to find one with a low range standard transmission. One question i had was i was wanting to put 33" tires on it and i was wondering if a 4" lift would suffice. I've found plenty of websites with the kits on them and they all seem to be a reasonable price. I wanted to put a snorkel kit on it and i don't know if the throttle body would get in the way of that or if a snorkel kit is a good idea or just something for show. I'm starting with a clean canvas here so any suggestions as to where to start and how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
