| Just bought my FJ today....unfortunately it got too dark to run out and check it out the way I wanted to. It's a 2007 part time 4x4 with RDL/auto trans. Bought it used and the only thing it didn't come with that was a minor downer was the 115VAC plug in the back. Would have been nice for the laptop...but....It did come with a 2.5" lift and really nice oversized wheels/tires...can't remember the intimate details and I've already run out with a flashlight twice looking at stuff. Eventually want a light bar on top and brush guard for it...nerf bars....probably mostly cosmetic. Looking forward to having a lot of fun with it. Any websites with aftermarkets and toys would be appreciated. Thanks!!!! Does anyone know if there is a place to purchase the remote opener except the dealer? And some idea of the cost for 2 remotes? Thanks!! Last edited by rmcgee1960; 01-24-2009 at 10:45 PM. Reason: wanted to add a question |

| Good to hear from you, I bought a new HUNTER brush guard on Ebay a few months ago for $229.00, including shipping. Far better than the TOYOTA part. Very heavy gauge, extends down below the bumper, and has a light mounting bar. As far as a remote: Bulldog security mfrs remote start kits, and accesories. I have seen universal remotes on the website. I have 3 of their remote start kits, and have never had a problem. And they are not hard to install yourself if you want. Most of the kits have a door lock option with them, or their universal remote I would assume can be matched to your factory remote. If you can't find the Brush guard on ebay, I can dig up the dealers name, if you need it. Have fun with your new toy. |
