Proper trailer hitch

Hello Everyone!
I have just bought my FJ and absolutely love it. You may have seen this question before, so forgive me, but I need to put a class 3 trailer hitch on the back and like to make sure I am doing the right thing. I would rather not put one that attaches to the bumper. I will need a special wiring connector and the light converter. Let me know where you get this from, so that the kit is complete and of good quality. Thanks.

If you are doing the work yourself, go to a site called etrailer.com. They are in Missouri and will ship your order within at week. Shipping is free over a certain amount. They have a huge warehouse and an excellent product base. They have items custom fit for your FJ.

If you want to buy locally, I would go with Reese or Draw-Tite. Your dealer could get them for you, or there are plenty of places around that will have them.

I stopped by local Toyota dealer and (to my surprise) I got everything there. Well, they charged me about $50 more but it was convenient to get it right away. Waiting for a warmer day to install, just to make sure that plastic parts will not brake in 14 deg cold we have here. I put an undercoating and sound-proof to protect from winter salt. While inside, the only sound of engine is what comes from the end of muffler. Thanks for your tips and Happy New Year everyone!
