I bought my first FJ yesterday and now I have to wait 5-7 days for delivery. It's killing me to wait. I was previously a Jeep guy(i've owned 3) but I decided to try something new. I'll post pics when it arrives.

Got my FJC Nov 22, 2008. It's a 2008 4x with auto trans, basic upgrade to include daytime runners, power mirrors, rr diff lock, rear sonar. Got the sandstorm color. This is the second FJ I've owned, had a '76 FJ40. Loved the brute until the oil pump died and had to rebuild the engine. I also owned a '74 Jeep CJ-5 Renegade. Preferred the Toy over the Jeep. Joined the forum to read the info you all submit.

You are gonna flip, my friend. The FJ is just awesome! That independent front suspension makes all the difference in the world. Of course, my opinion is based on a solid axle GMC Jimmy of approx 1986 vintage, but stiill, it's a marked improvement.
