| plain FJ Whassup, everyone! I joined the forum a few days ago. I also traded in my 2003 Audi Allroad for an FJ (Diamond Black, 4wd, 6 speed manual) last week. Like many before me, I am gettin' rid of these factory rims and tires the minute my wife's not lookin ! The only serious mod I plan to do is to have Ardmore Toyota here in Philadelphia Pa ( nice people) install the TRD Supercharger. Believe it or not, my wife is on board for this upgrade. The Audi we had could really scoot and she misses the twin turbos.( allright so do I) I have not settled on a tire and rim package, I leaning toward American racing Mojave and 275 70 R17 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R Mud Tires if they are not too loud I'd like to try that setup in 18" if they don't rub. I really like understated rims with a deep offset( I think that's what it's called) Or deep set. I'll probably have the rims painted a middle gray, cause black on black is a little morbid for my taste. Any way, I am glad to be here and Iam reading and learning from this great forum every day. |
