Hello All

Thinkin' about an FJ and just wanted to see what everyone thinks and is saying about it.
Not the most practical purchase I could make in vehicles but it seems like it might be fun when we do get out to the mountains or the desert.
Cheers

There are only two things I don't like about my Fj. Of course the gas mileage. I drive 20 miles to and from work everyday. I fill up the tank like once a week and with the premium gas it isn't pretty. The other thing is that if you have kids or dogs or any back passengers they will be uncomfortable. Because the back doors aren't full doors there are no back windows to roll down. But if you don't have kids or a lot of back passengers then it's a great truck. Your dogs will adapt, mine have.

I fill up my tank about once a week also when driving from Oakland to San Francisco for work. I have a newborn car seat in middle and a toddler one in the back right seat. A third adult can sit back there fairly comfortably. The only gripe I have is the gas mileage. Maybe I'll put a 4 cyl Toyota engine in it someday. Also I think it would be better without tinted windows.
