Cool What a deal! Maybe?

So last night I picked up a brand new 2008 FJ with the convenience package and the offroad package for $23,500.00 from a dealership in the Washington D.C. area. To add to this I made them throw in a passanger side arm rest! Has anyone else walked away with a deal like this? The dealership sayed I was probibly the most aggresive barganer they have had in a long time. I later asked what they pay for the truck and the dealer stated $25,000.00 so I think I got a deal!

I too made a deal like this. I think we ended up getting ours for $23,200. The dealership was really glad to see us leave, considering that they closed @ 6:00pm and it was 8:15pm when we got out of there.

Sounds like a great deal to me, but there is no way the dealer will sell at a loss. With the exeption of a inventory tax sale, or going out of busines. Regardless $23,500.00 is a great price. I bought mine, equipped about the same a month ago for around $27,000. But I had to trade in a lemon BMW X5, so it's not a good comparison. Congrats on your toy, hope you enjoy.

Yes - good price

I got my FJ for 8% off MSRP (no trade-in, 3/12/08, Dayton OH), but I wanted something fairly specific (silver, manual) and the dealer located it 225 miles away for me.

I also agree with Brian...the dealers know what they're doing.

Enjoy!
