can anyone share their experience with replacing the windshield on the FJ Cruiser. The shop that replaced the windshield on my FJ managed to break a body panel and the windshield leaks. I am wondering if this windshield is difficult to replace.

Mario ..I had to replace a windshield and the installer made a comment about the installation being difficult because of the metal strips adjacent to the windshield being glued in and subject to damage when removed ....I took my FJ to the shop that does the windshields for the Toyota dealer ...cost was high ...reason stated is the glass is high and will probably come down as more Fj's get on the road .....Jim

Thanks for the message. I phoned the dealer where I bought the truck and they referred me to the Glass Shop that replaced the windshield. It should all be like new by the end of this week. But yes, extremely difficult and expensive to replace this windshield.
