New owner in Colorado

Just got a 2008; had to go with the stick, but with lots of bells and whistles. Haven't been off-road yet, but if it performs half as well as my old FJ40, I'll be a happy man. And the on-road performance is far superior. Any suggestions on moderate trails in Boulder County will be welcome (not ready for Carnage Canyon, yet).

Welcome to the fourms!! Any plans for mods yet, or are you gonna let the new wear off first?

Just bought an FJ (brick red) 2 weekends ago. Went on my first trail this last weekend. Digging it. Looking at possibly adding a winch but the prices I have found so far seem high. Any insight?

Also, trying to research how difficult a trail my FJ can handle without modifying (I have the RR diff, active trac, rock rails etc, but not the offroad package)

Boulder County trails

Just did Lefthand Canyon this last weekend up to 5 points. FJ handled it great. Lots of fun
