hello !

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this whole forum thing, I've never been a member of a forum. I thought I would join this one since I am looking to do some modifications/upgrades on my FJ and I was hoping to get some advice and direction through this forum. Also I want to find out about any FJ related events in my area and get more involved with other FJ drivers.
I have a 2010 FJ All Terrain Package, I bought it on Black Friday back in Nov. of 2009. I love it. This is my first new car. The only modifications I have on it so far are: the roof rack, a kicking stereo system, K&N filter, ski rack and bike rack. I am in the market for a front, steel bumper but those things are soooo expensive. I need to save up first before making that purchase.

My last car was a Mitsubishi Montero Sport XLT 4x4 and I thought that thing was amazing off road but I was blown away by what a stock FJ can do on the trails. I live in Denver and I go up to the mountains a lot to go skiing, mountain biking, hiking, shooting (I'm not a hunter) and off-roading. We have some great trails around here in this awesome state and I am just amazed at how beautifully this car handles on the trails and in the snow.

Anyway, looking forward to sharing some ideas with everyone. If anyone knows of a cool FJ cruiser club or group in the Denver area please let me know. Also, a few years ago there was a group of FJ drivers that were in the Denver St. Patrick's Day Parade, would love to get involved with that.
Merry Christmas everyone and happy new year!
