| Air Filter swap / K&N Highflow 33-2281
It's really pretty simple to do.
But if you are a total newbie, hopefully this will help you out?
I needed to replace my stock Toyota Air filter (Part No: 17001-31090) and Cabin filter at 15,000K from exposure to the smoke from the wildfires in Rancho Bernardo / Poway back in October... and some dusty off roading in the Angeles National Forest early this winter. Under regular use, I doubt if I would have needed to do this at 15K, but one look at those two filters, and it was pretty obvious they needed to be swapped out.
Here's a shot by shot of the swap out from the stock air filter to upgrading to K&N's High Flow Air Filter (Part No: 33-2281). I payed $38.96 at Auto Zone in LA for the K&N air filter.
