Daughters 1st Camp Trip

I just took two of my daughters camping at Colorado Bend State Park. What a fantastic adventure, and the wildlife was a real treat for them. Deer, Raccoons, Armadillos, Snakes, Turkey Vultures, the list really goes on. Spent three days by the river, swimming, tubing,...and losing a water sock or two. We also went on a pleasant hike to the Gorman Falls and Spring areas. I was very impressed on how well my 9 & 6 yr old's did (was steep and hot in many parts)

and here's a link to my other web site, that includes the trip

It's good to see kids getting out and camping these days! So many just sit and play video games. They are cuties! . . . Must take after their mother

Just kiddin' mann! Take care!

Looks like the had a good time. Waiting for it to cool off some here in the south, and I'll be taking my 3 year old son some I imagine.

Yeah TommyBoy, they take after their mother for sure , all the life miles are getting to me
Well, the river kept us plenty cool ttammunek06, the hike was pretty hot, but kept them cool with water, you and your boy should have a blast.
I actually just got back in country after a year, so I gave momma a few days off of a much deserved rest
