Fishing with the Kid

Well me and the kid decided to go fishing around the house this past Sunday. We had a pretty good day, I ended up catching 6 and let him reel in 3 of them. He was so excited. Every time we caught one he would want to hold it and let me take his picture. After I took the trophy picture, he'd throw them back. Keep in mind he's only 2-1/2 years old. After Sunday that was all I heard about Monday, and first thing Tuesday morning. I told him that after he got done with music class Tuesday afternoon, we'd try and go again. Well while he was @ music, I decided to go ahead and start. I ended up catching about 26 fish in 1-1/2 hours! Caught everyone of them on a Worden's Rooster Tail #2. The wife came home and ran him over to the pond, where I caught another 6 or 7 fish and let him reel them in. I thought he was gonna crap himself. I took some pics with the camera phone so sorry about the quality.

Geez, I can't believe how big he's gotten. Seems like just last year you and misses brought him home...................guess I'm just getting old.
