| Nemaha County I went to some property in Nemaha County, south of Seneca about 8 miles or so. Alot of my best blue stem fields were plowed under to make way for soybeans and corn - darn shame. However, I was still able to get into some good pockets of ground. |

| Squid, Tommyboy, I'm planning to take a trip to Flint Hills by Emporia the first or second weekend of prairie chicken in September. I've ordered some hunting guides to provide pointers, but if you have any suggestions on how to tackle Flint Hills or otherwise where to go, etc., I'd appreciate it. And, if anyone is interested in joining me, send me a pm. Seriously. I'm easy company. I'm used to hunting pheasant in South Dakota and bobwhites in Oklahoma...venturing out to try the Kansas chickens. So far, it's just me, my 2 and 1/2 year old german shorthair and the FJ. |
