| fj40 project opinion needed well to start off....im new here, i LOVE projects and builds. im an old wheeler at heart, willys on up. now im looking at a 77 fj40 PROJECT1 asking price is 2800.00 now i need you opinion its frame up so far, gm 14 bolt rear with split axles 44 front with lock right locker new brakes bearings and drums all around, with a spring over. back tub is stripped and ready for paint, no rust. body is disassembled, all glass is there, no dents, and no rust. comes with a 350 small block chevy, with less than break in miles, new eldelbrock carb, never seeen grease, ported and balanced turbo 400 with shaft conversion and a fresh rebuild dana 300 twin stick, newl rebuild painless wiring harness, new tank, all pieces and parts, tranny adapter and new mounts as well. again i love projects, and this as it sits gives me the opportunity to build it, paint it my way! how do you all feel about the parts, price? any great places for parts to shop? all i have is pics on my phone but i have personally seen everything ....let me know your thoughts and yes i will start this and finish it. i have a two bay shop to work in and i love my projects another question... do i find a stock runner or do i build a beast? |
