| What will fit in the back of a fj40? Hi, new here... I am looking at an alternative to a van and like the idea of another project car, needs to be road ready but with a plan to modify a few things in the future. so i know it aint massive but we are making do with a vw golf or peugeot 405 at the moment, the latter of which has just done what i think is a water pump so that will be fun for me... so can anyone give up the basic dimension in the back? width between wheel arches width above wheel arches corresponding heights and length front to back thanks, Andy a bit about me because i am new here. I am a fresh mechanical engineer, I work on windows (mmm....) i have a CNC knee mill conversion underway (all but done!!!!), i do all my own work on my cars, engine builds and an aftermarket ecu have been done in past. |

![]() i am looking forward to the next project, not that the little pug (Peugeot 205) is done yet but a more practical vehicle will be good, the little pug is a roll gage away from being a track car... |
