I don't want to sound like a wise guy, but I wouldn't waste my time with a Chilton's manual unless you are talking about the "professional" shop manual. Off the shelf manuals are usually R&R (remove & replace) guides and don't actually tell you how to diagnose and repair. I have always ordered factory service manuals whenever possible. These manuals offer more indepth information, and can save you a lot of time. Just my worth.

The factory manuals do have more information in them, but can be hard to follow. They're not written for us non-pro mechanics. The Chiltons are more user friendly for simple jobs. I like to have both on the shelf. But thats my opinon too.
To answer your question, I've checked every couple of months, my carquest guys said it should be soon.

I agree with you Brian, I like having both - the professional and the Haynes. The Haynes is usually dumbed down for people like me and has lots of pictures. I have the professional manual in pdf (the one that Squid linked to) but it reads like a phone book and I wish it had more step-by-step illustrations.

Oops, sorry. I was slipping back to my old auto mechanic days (before they started calling them 'technicians').

Yup, I can see that. If the grisly is right in front of you, there's no need to stalk it.
