| Steep Downhills Hi folks! My first post. I bought my FJ in December, and took it off road this past summer. While I am very happy with it overall, there is one thing that troubles me -- the lowest gear is not low enough to control speed on long, steep downhills. I took it on the Yankee Boy Basin Road in Ouray, Co., in July and had to almost ride the brake the entire trip back. My right leg was extremely tired after that. My son, an experienced off-roader, said he notices it as well. Is this something common with all FJs and what can be done to compensate for it? Thanks |
