first long trip

Bought my FJ in Feb, with 8 miles. Fuel mileage stunk. I didn't get 200 miles per tank. I just got back from my first long distance trip. Michigan to North Carolina, now with about 6,000 miles. I'm happy to say I got about 21-22 mpg. And the ride was great.

I find that the faster I go, the better the milage I get. Hmmmm, seems wrong, but that's the way it is.

When driving around Miami I get 13.5 mpg but driving home to K.West I get 22 on the overseas highway ,maybe my rig doesn`t like the big city.
