hey yall..

im new here so im sure somewhere on this site someone has already answered this question so SORRY!

anyways, im looking to buy a FJ cruiser within the next month.

i really want the black on black, which if i understand correctly is a limited edition.. if anyone knows of one for sale please let me know!!

also, any suggestions on whether i should paint it or not would be greatly appreciated--

like i said, im a newbie in need of some HELP!

Black-on-black was the Trail teams Special Edition (SE) last year. The SE color this year is all white, or off-white, like the top of all other FJs.

SE's are quite rare. My local dealer only got one last year, and only two this year. Only 3200 sold world wide. I've only seen one other one. Here in SOCAL, they were all delivered in February. Check with your dealer.

A lot of people have bought a black FJ and painted the top black, to look like an SE. For my taste, the white top is more practical, cooler in the summer. You can get all the options of an SE, if you look or if you order one.
