| aFe Air Intake for FJ - Review Ok kids, I installed an aFe Air Intake for Betty on Monday evening. I have driven it around for a week now (including a 650 mile business trip) and have been fairly impressed. It does what it says - increases horsepower, increases torque, and helps gas milage. The box says it adds 19 HP and 22 ft.lbs. of torque and my butt dyno believes it - especially on the higher end. As far as fuel economy goes - I did notice a difference of about 1.3 miles per gallon more on my long highway trip. I haven't noticed much gain in city traffic though. The box said it adds 1 mpg. The extra power is what really got me excited though. I am sure it will help with towing as well as an added zip on speed. Here is a link if you want to see the one I used. I ordered from these guys and it came quick. It was very easy to install and fits into all existing FJ mounts - no modifications necessary. Thumbs up. I got the first one on the top of the page.
