Compass indicator will not stop blinking!

And it's really bugging me. Cannot find anything in the manual that explains how to stop it from flashing on and off. This is on the factory add-on dash gauges, of course.

Thanks! btw the seatbelt chime mute was genious!

Thanks for that.

Compass blinking

Hi Trainwreck,

Enjoy the FJ.

The Answer to your Question is you need to calibrate your compass.

Find a nice open area. Press and hold the set button then select your magnetic region, You will need to check the owners manual because I don't know where you are located.

After you select your region, drive around in a nice circle at about 5 MPH a few times until the rotating indicators on your temperature display stops and displays the outside temperature.

Hope this helps,

Hector

Thumbs up Thanks!

Hey thanks for the info. I'm in whittier, so covina must be the same compass setting. I thought I had calibrated it correctly, cause the compass seems to be functioning properly... but it still blinks. Anyways, I will do what you said. I'm sure that will take care of that.

Enjoy your FJ as well!

Anyone ever added the Gauge Cluster to a Fj without one? Would live to have them.
