I don't want to sound like a wise guy, but I wouldn't waste my time with a Chilton's manual unless you are talking about the "professional" shop manual. Off the shelf manuals are usually R&R (remove & replace) guides and don't actually tell you how to diagnose and repair. I have always ordered factory service manuals whenever possible. These manuals offer more indepth information, and can save you a lot of time. Just my
