I just experienced a hit to my windshield. Odd thing was the hit was so hard that it sounded like a gun shot... It may have been a rock, but odd that no cars in front and a car past seconds before. Sprayed glass all over the passenger side too. The crack was along the bottom just below the middle wiper. (Stress crack maybe?)

I've discovered that replacing a windshield in the FJ can hit 1200 bucks!! Toyota doesn't cover this under warranty and they are QUICK to say road debris... so when you buy bumper-to-bumper... that doesn't include the windshield!!

I've also did some googling and there appears to be a rash of these sorts of things where the the FJ suffers windshield issues more than any other type of vehicle.

Has anyone suffered this injustice regarding these confiscatory prices??
