A good, reliable, secure safari style rack will run $500-$800 in a basic config. I don't know of any real bargains, but I do know that you don't want to skimp on quality. If you are getting a travel rack, that means you're putting "your stuff" up there, and you don't want to waste your vacation replacing your stuff because your cheap rack didn't do the job. Look at a website called :: Baja Rack ::, and I think you'll like what you see.
