The insturctions below were posted by ttammunek06 in Oct 2007. They worked on my 2008 Tacoma and may work on other models as well. Thanks for the help ttammunek06!

From the off position:

1. Turn Key to ON
2. Within 6 seconds, press and HOLD the odometer button
3. Wait 12-14 seconds (count 1 one-thousand, 2 one-thousand.....)
4. Buckle your seat belt
5. Let go of the odometer button and press it again
6. Wait a few seconds until it clears and goes back to the odometer with your mileage displayed.
