I have a 2007 FJ with a six speed manual transmission. The truck is full time all wheel drive. I am trying to improve the gas mileage on the truck - it is terrible. Has anyone converted the front end to a free wheel front end with locking hubs?

If so, what was the approximate cost, where there any problems with the installation and did it improve your gas mileage?
